Easy Glazed Pineapple

We had some friends over the other night for a bbq and they brought the yummiest glazed pineapple I've ever had...it was delicious and so easy.

Pineapple Glaze

1/2 cube butter melted

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

(this is mostly a suggestion you can change it to your liking)

Mix well and soak sliced pineapple for a few hours, grill until nice and caramely. 

  

Father's Day Fun From Pinterest

Ok so I'm a last minute gift giver(it's a terrible way to be, I know) I'm posting this a little late for those of you who like to plan and be prepared...  most of these you could still make happen with a bit of effort.

Assemble a gift basket with all of Dad or Grandpa's favorite treats and attach a note to each telling them why each family member loves them.

ABC's in a can

In between diaper changes and feedings I managed to make this fun little project for my preschooler, she knows some of her letters but needed something to get her excited about learning the rest....

so we came up with this, they are like flash cards but alot more fun.

My toddler has enjoyed playing with this as much or maybe even more than his sister and I think he's accidently learning some letters as he plays!

Birthday Card For Teacher

 My little girl has the best teacher ever...she has been teaching for about 20 years and definitely knows her stuff she is awesome with the kids and my little girl adores her so we thought we would do somethng for her Birthday...well I forgot until last minute and came up with this card, it turned out pretty cute so I thought I would share.

Each present folds down and has a little note written inside.

Some store bought cookies and a homemade card and you've got an easy last minute gift.

Summer Fun For Kids

This is about as crafty as I've been since baby number 4 arrived but my kids spent hours out on their bikes loving this side walk chalk road we made...so I thought I would share it on here as a summer activity for the kids.

Oh and make sure you make it multi colored just for fun!

He's a kind of a crazy driver...

he was able to keep it on the road most of the time.

And my kids came up with this idea to make a miniature road for the hot wheels...also a good time.

From Shirt to Skirt

Turn a Too Small Mama Shirt into a Just Right Little Girl Outfit

Cut shirt just under the neckline or however long you want it, fold under towards the inside about

1 1/2" and pin.

Sew a simple casing about a 1/2" wide, cut a strip of fabric an inch wide and long enough to tie around the waste comfortably, feed through with a safety pin.

 

Be sure to tie knots at the ends of the tie so they don't work their way out.

For the shirt cut strips of fabric and sew on however you prefer.

Bunch together and sew on

Mine ended up looking like a little corsage.
